During Oral Health Month in June 2025, America’s ToothFairy once again ignited a nationwide movement for oral health equity through the third annual Share Your Smile campaign. By expanding access to oral health education through schools, clinics, and community programs, we help children build healthy habits and reduce barriers to preventive care.
With support from Sun Life Dental and DentaQuest, the campaign offered free, downloadable resources to help providers and educators teach families about the importance of healthy smiles—and the barriers that still prevent millions from accessing dental care.
Thanks to the dedication of 306 oral health advocates, this year’s campaign reached an estimated 189,751 children and caregivers with engaging, evidence-based oral health education. Advocates used the resources in classrooms, clinics, public libraries, summer programs, and outreach events across 44 states and several countries, including Canada, the United Kingdom, and India.
Through Share Your Smile, America’s ToothFairy helped children and caregivers access oral health education that supports healthy habits and helps prevent tooth decay.
Participation spanned a diverse range of sectors:
In total, 409 organizations accessed the free Share Your Smile social media toolkit, multiplying the campaign’s reach by sharing educational content across social platforms. These included local dental offices, regional nonprofits, health coalitions, and corporate partners—each contributing to a ripple effect of oral health advocacy.
Share Your Smile equips educators and community partners with the tools they need to teach children healthy habits and expand access to preventive care.
By equipping educators, health advocates, and community partners with free oral health resources, America’s ToothFairy and our donors help children build healthy habits early and expand access to prevention where it is needed most.
Since its launch in 2023, the Share Your Smile campaign has:
“Every child deserves a healthy smile,” said Jill Malmgren, Executive Director of America’s ToothFairy. “This campaign empowers educators, health advocates, and parents with tools to break the cycle of poor oral health—especially in communities where care is hard to access.”
We are grateful for the continued support of Sun Life Dental and DentaQuest, whose sponsorship made this campaign possible.
Educational materials remain available throughout the summer for use at camps, back-to-school events, and community clinics. To access them or get involved in the 2026 campaign, visit ShareYourSmileCampaign.org.
