Crest and Walgreens Donate 10,000 Toothpaste Tubes to Help Kids Smile Brighter

Thanks to a generous donation from Crest and Walgreens, 10,000 tubes of Crest Complete Plus Scope Liquid Gel Toothpaste—valued at more than $34,000—were distributed to America’s ToothFairy and three of our Dental Resource Program partners. The donation is helping thousands of children in underserved communities build healthy oral hygiene habits.

The donated toothpaste was sent to:

  • Mobile Care Chicago, which provides free mobile medical and dental care to children in need throughout the Chicago area.
  • Bridging Brighter Smiles in Wisconsin, which delivers preventive dental care in schools and community centers across the state.
  • Well Child Center in Elgin, Illinois, whose pediatric dental clinic serves children from birth through age 18 and integrates oral health education into WIC appointments.
  • America’s ToothFairy, for redistribution to other nonprofit partners serving children nationwide.

This contribution supports Crest’s Closing America’s Smile Gap initiative and Walgreens’ commitment to creating healthier communities. Together, we’re working to eliminate barriers to oral health and ensure every child has a chance to grow up with a healthy smile.

“Thanks to Crest and Walgreens, thousands of children will now have the tools they need to build healthy oral hygiene habits,” said Jill Malmgren, Executive Director of America’s ToothFairy. “We are so grateful for their continued support of our mission.”
