Smile Drive Charlotte Gets a Lift from Speedway Children’s Charities

The America’s ToothFairy team was very proud to receive a grant from Speedway Children’s Charities at a special ceremony at the Charlotte Motor Speedway on December 6. At the event, Speedway Children’s Charities awarded $952,874 in grant funding to support dozens of charities serving children in the Charlotte region. How honored we were to be a part of this event and this network of nonprofit organizations serving children across our city. NCOHF has supported several of the other grantees in the past with educational materials and oral care products and received this grant in part due to our collaborative work with other nonprofit organizations in the region. The $4,000 grant, the maximum amount available to first-time applicants, will support Smile Drive Charlotte, our National Children’s Dental Health Month campaign to raise awareness of children’s oral health and collect toothbrushes, toothpaste and other oral care products for children in need. Their support will allow us to expand the educational component of our campaign and reach new populations of underserved children. Thank you, Speedway Children’s Charities, for this generous grant and for all you do for underserved children in our community.
